Here’s how we do it: We take the head pipes from our PowerPro 2-into-1 and connect them to a special steel cylindrical muffler body, capped with a massive, machined conical chromed aluminum tip. With Cobra’s proven tuned-exhaust technology you’ll see significant and measurable improvements in horsepower and torque over your stock system, in addition to better ridability and overall performance. But best of all, there’s the Cobra PowerPro sound – unlike anything else out there.
COLLECTOR HEAT SHIELD:
We build our PowerPro 2-into-1 with the industry’s first 222° heat shield. It covers the welds, cleans up the lines, and resists bluing. There’s even a special internal cooling system!
DOUBLE INSULATED MUFFLER BODY:
Double insulated to prevent bluing, and tuned with our special metal baffles, it’s what the PowerPro is all about. And because it’s joined solidly with the head pipes, you never have to worry about it drooping or looking cock-eyed like some other systems.
CHROMED BILLET TIP:
The rounded edges and beveled interior wall are pure art, and provide the final finishing touch to a gorgeous system.
FULL-LENGTH HEAT SHIELDS:
We give every pair a set of full exhaust port-to-billet tip heat shields. They’re a full 2.5 inches in diameter for that distinctive Cobra look, and they wrap around 222°. We give them a triple-layer chrome finish too, for a deep, lustrous shine that looks like you just pulled them out of the plating tank. Best of all, since they’re insulated from the heat source, that shine is going to last.
